System Mastery - Afterthought - Mea Culpa (Nephilim)

System Mastery is one of the many many excellent tabletop RPG podcasts, I regularly listen to.

With each episode, one D6 at a time, System Mastery dive deep in old game books to find out what they are about and whether or not they stand the test of time.

When they asked their listeners for new games to review, I did not resist suggesting to check "Nephilim: Occult Roleplaying" an ill-fated Chaosium translation (by the way I ran at Dragonmeet into Kenneth Hite who was part of Chaosium's team - Interview in Ep 18 Part 4)  of the still very popular in the hexagon "jeu de role" Nephilim.

Not only Jef and Jon picked it up (and thrashed with great entertainment valueamong other things the Chaosium book's suggestion that a friendly Austrian painter got possessed by a Nephilim, in the late 1920s/early 1930s, with historical catastrophic consequences) but they also I invited me to join them for a "Mea Culpa - Afterthought 50".

No "culpa" as far as I am concerned guys.

:)

Thanks for having me on the show.

Stay tuned for more stuff about Nephilim with an Episode 20 ,"à la In Nomine Satanis" with some Actual Play  and an interview, dedicated to that favorite of mine.

In the meantime, if you happen to master French, I recommend you check the mentioned episode of  the "La Cellule" podcast dedicated to the Nephilim campaign "Le Souffle du Dragon".

Cheers

Kalum
