About...

Welcome among The Rolistes!

The Rolistes is the proudly London-based home of tabletop RPG fans across the Channel, the Pond and beyond.

A “rôliste” is what a tabletop roleplaying game fan is called in French.

Whether you are a new or seasoned fan of the tabletop hobby, we hope to introduce you to how diverse this community is across borders and even languages.

Since 2015, The Rolistes produces multimedia content across a growing number of shows.

We hosted several live events in London including the local stop of the DnD Community European Tour and #DnD4MentalHealth

Hopefully, we will soon publish our first tabletop game: “Paris Gondo - The Life-Saving Magic of Inventorying”.

The Team

Kalum (He/Him)

Founder/host of The Rolistes, Streamer, Game Designer - Kalum was introduced to tabletop roleplaying games through his Star Wars fandom.

It happened when, one Christmas day, he was offered the West End Games 2n Edition of “Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game” published in French by Jeux Descartes.

Much later, his involvement in The Hobby intensified when he moved to London, thanks to “La Guilde des Rolistes de Londres” and “The Role Play Haven”.

Since then, he has become a Faculty Member of The RPG Academy. There, he launched and curates “RPGA Film Studies”.

He is also regularly the guest on various streamed actual play shows

Finally, after interviewing many enthusiastic designers, Kalum was inspired to become one himself. His first game, “Paris Gondo - The Life-Saving Magic of Inventorying”, should be published in 2021.

Persephelia (She/Her)

Newsletter Editor, Patron - Persephelia has always been a bit of a geek. Growing up, she played “Dungeon Master” on Amiga 500 and repeatedly watched Star Wars. She liked to collect little metal wizard figurines (not the ones made in Nottingham).

Sometimes, her friends would say: "There is this thing. People play adventures at a table with dice. I think you would like it.”

However, she politely declined…
…until she met Kalum.

There was no escaping anymore as he introduced her to TTRPG in the very first weeks of their relationship. The game was Nephilim and she kept the name of her first character as her alias "Persephelia".

She never looked back.

Twelve years later, she has been a member of several roleplaying clubs, played a plethora of wonderful games, been to several conventions, mastered several games. Judge Dredd is her favourite game to GM.

Persephelia has appeared many times on "The Rolistes Podcast" and "Café Rolistes".

Finally, she writes the monthly "The Rolistes Newsletter", which she hopes you enjoy reading.
