Once again, I took advantage of a family holiday to quickly record a couple interviews in a local game shop.

This time we landed in the French city of Lyon!

Founded in Lyon in 2005 by Louis et Charles Trécourt, Trollune is allegedly one of France's biggest shop (if not the BIGGEST!).

My guests will introduce you better than I can to this much-beloved game shop:

  • Taz wargames specialist later joined by François from their boardgames department and finally Anouk from their bookstore department;
  • After helping out enthusiastic customers, Taz joined us again to tell us about the tabletop RPG Bloodlust and French contribution to the wargames miniature scene;
  • An old friend of the show, Xany, was lurking in a corner of the shop and told us about what he played lately and recommended some geeky places to visit in Lyon (contact him if you are an employer in the robotics industry or a tabletop RPG fan;
  • And finally, we were joined by Sylvain the in-house tabletop RPG expert who had a few French tabletop RPG recommendations for us and who managed to sell me THREE FRENCH GAMES when I planned only to buy one and also had some Nephilim rumours for us.

I hope many of you will join me at the next Gauntlet Community Open Gaming event on July 18th and 19th to play my game "Paris Gondo - The Life-Saving Magic of Inventorying" and other games.

Don't forget to send me your AMA questions ahead of the 5th anniversary of The Rolistes Podcast before July 31st.
